    <content type="html">Haven't posted in here for a while.  Wrote a long one yestserday on the Forum about the usual stuff with my mum. Am going to print it off and keep all the lovely comments.  In fact, i'm going to print off all my posts about her to remind myself of how far i've come in the past 12 months or so. Feeling a bit down about it, but determined to cahnge, and not hurting as much, so that's good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway - JC's Mentoring Message No 2. Acknowledge your positive past.  Summary - divide your life into 3 equal time periods and list 3 successes for each period.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;first third - &lt;br /&gt;1. Came first in school sports running race 3 years in a row.&lt;br /&gt;2. Wrote prize-winning story that was put on the wall in the assembly hall.&lt;br /&gt;3. Got mainly As in my school reports.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Second third - &lt;br /&gt;1. Put in top sets at school.&lt;br /&gt;2. Got accepted at all universities I applied for - Lancaster, East Anglia, York and Sheffield.&lt;br /&gt;3. Got a 2.1.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Third third - &lt;br /&gt;1. Worked on several BBC productions in London, and saw my name on telly loads of times (and at Leicester Square premiere of East is East).&lt;br /&gt;2. Got a good Masters Degree.&lt;br /&gt;3. Bought 3rd house and renovated it single-handedly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;100 successes - "To really convince yourself that you're a successful person who can continue to achieve great things, complete the next step of this exercise and list 100 or more of your life successes".&lt;br /&gt;1. Scoring lots of rounders at primary school.&lt;br /&gt;2.  Painting nice pictures.&lt;br /&gt;3. Writing an excellent story called "The Enormous Hole".&lt;br /&gt;4. Growing cress.&lt;br /&gt;5. Making an Easter bonnet.&lt;br /&gt;6. Making proper daisy chains.&lt;br /&gt;7. Making Christmas decorations from Blue Peter.&lt;br /&gt;8. Learning to read.&lt;br /&gt;9. Learning to write.&lt;br /&gt;10. Riding my first bicycle without stabilisers.&lt;br /&gt;11. Riding a donkey on teh beach.&lt;br /&gt;12. Learning to swim and passing swimming certificates.&lt;br /&gt;13.Passing my cycling proficiency test.&lt;br /&gt;14. Getting my swimmers badge in teh Brownies.&lt;br /&gt;15. Making and dying clothes.&lt;br /&gt;16. Piercing my ears.&lt;br /&gt;17. Working in a guest house from 14-17 year old.&lt;br /&gt;18. Walking a poodle for my first job.&lt;br /&gt;19. Playing the piano and getting to Grade V.&lt;br /&gt;20. Playing saxophone in 2 bands.&lt;br /&gt;21. Going for cycle rides.&lt;br /&gt;22. Collecting money from "Sunny Smiles" charity.&lt;br /&gt;23. Learning to drive and passing my test.&lt;br /&gt;24. Driving from London to Sheffield for the first time.&lt;br /&gt;25. Getting into Art College.&lt;br /&gt;26. Living in my own flat at 18.&lt;br /&gt;27. Learning how to use a launderette and carry wet washing up teh hill.&lt;br /&gt;28. Passing my English Literature course.&lt;br /&gt;29. Going to France on an exchange.&lt;br /&gt;30. Hitting Sam jones on the ear with a rounders bat and not scoring rounders but staying to see if she was OK.&lt;br /&gt;31. Surviving Broadoak Comprehensive School.&lt;br /&gt;32. Stopping smoking - over 4 years now.&lt;br /&gt;33. Stopping other harmful things.&lt;br /&gt;34. Getting counselling.&lt;br /&gt;35. Buying my first house at 27.&lt;br /&gt;36. Getting a 2.1 in English Language with Linguistics.&lt;br /&gt;37. Passing exams in Latin.&lt;br /&gt;38. Trying ju jitsu.&lt;br /&gt;39. Going to Spain and teaching English - establishing clients, making it all happen.&lt;br /&gt;40. Going inter-railing.&lt;br /&gt;41. Doing Camp America.&lt;br /&gt;42. Getting from Walnut Grove PA to JFK Airport on my own.&lt;br /&gt;43. Not quitting "Playing the Field". Horrendous job with much emotional pressure.&lt;br /&gt;44. Gems Diary Agency taking me on.&lt;br /&gt;45. Writing 2 dissertations.&lt;br /&gt;46. Moving to London on my own and building a life there.&lt;br /&gt;47. Learning to use a drill.&lt;br /&gt;48. Putting up shelves.&lt;br /&gt;49. Cutting blinds to fit.&lt;br /&gt;50. Working on a Trudy Styler film and meeting Sting.&lt;br /&gt;51. Buying a flat in Brighton.&lt;br /&gt;52. Decorating the flat myself.&lt;br /&gt;53. Surviving that loneliness.&lt;br /&gt;54. Moving on from B, N etc etc.&lt;br /&gt;55. Letting go of my mother, slowly but surely.&lt;br /&gt;56. Getting a cat form a rescue home.&lt;br /&gt;57. Getting a job on Holby City after resigning from Eastenders Revealed.&lt;br /&gt;58. Spending day on Eastenders set (the "Lot").&lt;br /&gt;59. Playing pitch and putt in weston.&lt;br /&gt;60. Doing a sponsored walk on the prom.&lt;br /&gt;61. Not getting into heroin.&lt;br /&gt;62. Still having friends i've known for years.&lt;br /&gt;63. Doing my first New Year's Eve at Mr Kites.&lt;br /&gt;64. Driving to Leeds, Hull, Norwich, Brighton, Kendal.&lt;br /&gt;65. Climbing a cliff in France.&lt;br /&gt;66. Not holding too many grudges anymore - moving on with friends, accepting them as they are.&lt;br /&gt;67. Still being part of the forum/centre after falling out with people at various times, and moving on.&lt;br /&gt;68. Adjusting to life in Sheffield again and working in a dfferent culture.&lt;br /&gt;69. Learning how to upload digital pictures on to my computer, and put them on ebay.&lt;br /&gt;70. Doing my Cher video on a regular basis - all of it.&lt;br /&gt;71. Learning to cook well.&lt;br /&gt;72. Covering my settee, using my sewing machine after 20 years.&lt;br /&gt;73. Being accepted onto the Samaritans training course.&lt;br /&gt;74. Planting flowers in my garden and watching them grow.&lt;br /&gt;75. Seeing a doctor about PMT and doing something positive about it.&lt;br /&gt;76. Not going under financially.&lt;br /&gt;77. Making my house beautiful.&lt;br /&gt;78. Putting IKEA flatpack furniture together.&lt;br /&gt;79. Driving around London after years of being terrified of driving.&lt;br /&gt;80. Bashing in the horrible brick fireplace and pulling out the wooden bit round the bay window.&lt;br /&gt;81. Buying my 3rd house without Dad being guarantor.&lt;br /&gt;82. Single-handedly co-ordinating "My Dad's the PM" at BBC Television Centre.&lt;br /&gt;90. Starting savings account and increasing the amount - starting to be responsible with money even though I'm in debt.&lt;br /&gt;91. Driving from Manchester to Sheffield along the Snake Pass at night in the snow.  &lt;br /&gt;92. Getting enough tiaras for everyone in the morning for my birthday picnic last year.&lt;br /&gt;93. Getting new stained glass for my front door in exactly the same pattern as the original glass.&lt;br /&gt;94. Going to Amsterdam to meeet 2 strangers from the forum - and it being great.&lt;br /&gt;95. Diving in Malta after almost drowning.&lt;br /&gt;96. Loading IKEA desk in my car on my own and driving back.  Then putting it all together.&lt;br /&gt;97. Getting the floors sanded and varnished.&lt;br /&gt;98. Surviving Christmas in Jamaica with AB, the crackhead.&lt;br /&gt;99. Getting from Sheffield to Paris and back on my own at 21 to meet I.&lt;br /&gt;100. Finding Jim Morrison's grave at Pere Lachais just before they closed the cemetry.  That was indeed a moment!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fuck me, I've done loads.</content>

    <content type="html">In no particular order;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.  Jump out of an aeroplane (booked for Jun 3rd 07, my birthday).&lt;br /&gt;2.  Design my own website.&lt;br /&gt;3.  Get married.&lt;br /&gt;4. Have an apartment in the South of France.&lt;br /&gt;5. Be out of debt.&lt;br /&gt;6. Earn £10,000/month.&lt;br /&gt;7. See the Easter islands.&lt;br /&gt;8. Get a round world flight ticket and travel for 6 months.&lt;br /&gt;9. Ride a horse along the beach.&lt;br /&gt;10. Swim with dolphins.&lt;br /&gt;11. Visit, and stay with, my friend Sarah in Hawaii.&lt;br /&gt;12. Get to know my nephew better.&lt;br /&gt;13. Be working soley on Mannatech business.&lt;br /&gt;14. Do a trek to Machu Pichu, Peru, for charity.&lt;br /&gt;15. Be a committed Samaritans volunteer.&lt;br /&gt;16. Be working out at least 3 times a week.&lt;br /&gt;17.  Have a flat stomach like i did 10 years ago.&lt;br /&gt;18. Still have my MX-5.&lt;br /&gt;19. Still have Douglas the cat.&lt;br /&gt;20. Learn French and speak it fluently.&lt;br /&gt;21. Wear sexy dresses.&lt;br /&gt;22.  Wear a sexy dress/skirt at least once a week!&lt;br /&gt;23. Have the money for regular facials, massages and hair salon visits - in order to feel and look my best. &lt;br /&gt;24. To meet and get to know more people from the forum, especially Tinkerbell, Baka and Brad.&lt;br /&gt;25. God this is difficult, i'm struggling already - to have a better relationship with my brother.&lt;br /&gt;26. Got to the Grand Canyon again, and see the sun rise.  I saw the sun set last time and it was awesome. &lt;br /&gt;27.  Fly a small plane.&lt;br /&gt;28.  Race a car at Brands Hatch, Silverstone or similar racing track.&lt;br /&gt;29. Get my attic finished, the walls knocked out and the windows put in - it will be fabulous!&lt;br /&gt;30. Fall asleep on the beach at sunset in the arms of my husband!&lt;br /&gt;31. Say yes to all social invitations for a month.&lt;br /&gt;32. Answer the telephone whenever it rings - stop screening.&lt;br /&gt;33. Spend Christmas in a log cabin, go skiing and be with fun people and boyfriend/husband.&lt;br /&gt;34. Go without alcohol for a month - and note the results.&lt;br /&gt;35. Take Ambrotose every day, and learn more about mannatech products and business.&lt;br /&gt;36.  Get comfortable and accomplished talking about mannatech products and business!&lt;br /&gt;37. Go to cuba.&lt;br /&gt;38. Learn to Salsa.&lt;br /&gt;39. Overcome PMT.&lt;br /&gt;40. Meditate for 20 minutes every day for a month and note the results.&lt;br /&gt;41. Eat fruit and vegetables every day.&lt;br /&gt;42. Meet at least 5 new people every month.&lt;br /&gt;43. Spend more time with my friends.&lt;br /&gt;44. Spend less time on my own, but still chill out and enjoy my space.&lt;br /&gt;45. Spend more time in a sunnier country.&lt;br /&gt;46. Wear high heels at least once a week.&lt;br /&gt;47. Scare myself as much as possible.&lt;br /&gt;48. Invite the neighbours over for dinner.&lt;br /&gt;49. Go swimming regularly.&lt;br /&gt;50. Learn Tai chi or a martial art.&lt;br /&gt;51. Have fencing lessons.&lt;br /&gt;52. Grow more vegetables, especially rocket and potatoes.&lt;br /&gt;53. Spend more time with my dad.&lt;br /&gt;54. Feel less angry and disappointed with my mum.&lt;br /&gt;55. Have counselling whenever i need it to talk it out/vent.&lt;br /&gt;56. Make Christmas cards.&lt;br /&gt;57. Dance more.&lt;br /&gt;58. Practice the law of attraction for 100 days and note results (ends 1st July).&lt;br /&gt;59. Try and see the best in people.&lt;br /&gt;60. Do the best I can in every situation.&lt;br /&gt;61. Stop beating myself up and thinking I've done something wrong - i now know where that comes from.&lt;br /&gt;62. Stop allowing people to pull my strings.&lt;br /&gt;63. Love my body more, especially the scar on my leg (which you can hardly see anymore, but i've always been conscious of it).&lt;br /&gt;64. Laser off my birthmark.&lt;br /&gt;65. Grow my nails.&lt;br /&gt;66. Talk on the phone more.&lt;br /&gt;67. Sail down the Amazon.&lt;br /&gt;68. Keep my house.&lt;br /&gt;69. Learn to ski properly - go skiing with Amanda, Gary and Geoff, or friends not met yet.&lt;br /&gt;79. Practise climbing and do it as a hobby, especially with Amanda, Gary and Sarah M.&lt;br /&gt;80.
